Step 1: Turn On your JBL speakers
The very first step to connect two JBL speakers is to power on the speakers, and it will automatically show up on the Bluetooth list of the source/device. However, if you are trying to pair the speaker for the first time, then press the Bluetooth button, and this will initiate the pairing mode.
Step 2: Look for the speaker in the Bluetooth settings
You need to go to the Bluetooth device list and locate all the JBL speakers that you want to pair with a device. In other cases, it will automatically pair, but for the first time, you have to do it manually.
You can also install the JBL Portable application on your smartphone to understand how the pairing process works. This application is at present known as JBL Connect. You can install it on your Android as well as iOS device.
Step 3: Try to play any audio
Finally, you need to verify whether all the speakers are paired successfully. To verify this, you need to play any audio from your device or any other source that you have connected to the speaker. If you are able to connect the audio and hear the sound, then you have successfully connected your JBL speaker to the device.
Step 4: Use the Connect button on your JBL speaker
Now, it’s time to connect the other speaker with the one that is already playing your chosen audio. You have to locate the Connect button on the speaker and press it. This will automatically sync the speaker with the other JBL speaker (one that you want to connect to). You can locate the Connect button near the function buttons of the speaker.
Step 5: Repeat the step for the rest of the speakers
You have to place all the speakers side-by-side, which you want to connect with the already-playing speaker. Press the Connect button for all the JBL speakers to pair up with the main speaker automatically. The speakers will get connected, and you can hear the sound. However, you need to pair the device with the speakers so that the sound can be played simultaneously.
How to disconnect one speaker from the rest?
You can disconnect one speaker by pressing the Connect button once again. Other than this, you can also turn off the speaker to disconnect from the rest. Remember disconnecting one speaker from the rest won’t disturb the audio experience, or even it won’t automatically disconnect other speakers from each other.
